The problem with motivation is this that Work with it should be started in from the beginning, when we are child. If not it’s harder to motivated to work. when we are use to do somethink, have some habits it’s not so big deal to do it.
Another think it’s hyperactivity of children. I don’t know how is in more difficult/extremal cases but even with children which are only active it’s difficult. it’s need more work and more creativity to take attention of children with this kind of problems. And it’s even more difficult when they are teenagers. I heard / saw some stories what happen during the classes with group of ‘active’ students. it’s incredible, but this kind of situation its not only fault of students it’s also problem with taking attention and getting respect by them to teacher. And this is hard work and challenge for every teachers.

I totally agree with everything Adeline says. It’s true don’t judge to quickly let them be a child.
But I also have to say that we not only are judging to quickly but that it’s also a little bit the environment it’s fault. These children, who are labeled with ADHD or hyperactivity, are children who are having a lot of trouble with the huge incentives in this world. What isn’t really hard to understand, nowadays a child doesn’t have ONE toy anymore, no it’s not enough according to the parents they have so many toys they can’t choose between all of it. it is just too much, children would so much more happy when just have one till tree toys.
But to continue.. the incentives the children can not process in their consciousness, drives them to overactivity.
These children are missing a connection from being able to express feelings in themselves outwardly. This impotence that they experience, gives an enormous activity and it also brings (sometimes) aggressive behavior.
We just have to understand more why they are reacting like this, than we can handle correctly.

  3. So if a child liked to be loud, wants to play all the time, moving all the time, jumps the whole time in house… he’s hyperactive? I’m sorry but that’s just a CHILD. Please let the child BE a child. I think it’s ridiculous to put the name hyperactivity so fast on a child. Example: my brother was a really active boy when he was little. But now he’s a really calme grown up man. I just think that’s a fase that the children had to get trough. Every child get to a certain age that they are really annoying, but that’s just getting grown up. But I can understand that hyperactivity can exsist, but you can’t judge to quick that a child has hyperactivity. And then give them pills is more insanity!!!

    1. It is relevant to consider that beyond the normal movements of children there are problems with some whose behavior does not allow them to focus and concentration, this being a handicap for the school activity. Hyperactivity exists.
It is important to read some materials about hyperactivity:
