COURSE: General Didactics

 

ECTS: 6 Semester

Description

This module includes contents about teaching methodology and educational organisation, which cover the following curricula elements: objectives, contents, methodology, and evaluation for quality assurance.

Aims

The aim of this module is to provide the student with

a critical understanding of the theoretical, conceptual and methodological options available for the methodology of teaching, research, design, and analyses;

It also includes an advanced level of knowledge of instructional process.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the module students should be able to:

acquire a solid conceptual base that allows to know, to interpret and to value as much the curricular theory as the didactic processes of intervention in the classroom, from the optics of the future professional of the teaching of Primary Education.

get knowledge, strategies and methods that allows to develop reflection processes and investigation in teaching.

develop the necessary and basic capacities of teaching, and to be able to design and implement curricular units.
